Blake Bond-Upson is Director of Public Affairs & Communications at DAY ONE, where she leads government relations, funding strategy, and communications to expand the organization’s impact. Since joining DAY ONE in its early stages, Blake has played a key role in its growth, building strong public partnerships and helping secure significant state and federal funding. With a background in event production and entrepreneurship, including co-founding the Brooklyn-based company BLAKE + KNIGHT, she brings a relationship-driven and strategic approach to her work. Blake is driven by a deep belief in the power of early childhood and the importance of communicating its impact on children, families, and communities.

When I was a kid
